I am having all kinds of problems with my lenovo Twist which has Windows 8.1. I am having problems with the computer going to sleep and not being able to resume to a normal state. (I end up having to hard start it and reboot windows). I am also having trouble with continued dropped wifi connections. I am convinced these problems are being triggered primarily by the 8.1 preview as I was not having these trouble before with just windows 8.
I am seriously considering doing back to factory default using the recovery partision. This is a failry new computer and I dont have much data or programs on it.

My question is should i first attempt to uninstall the Classic Shell, or just proceed with the recovery?

Any other thoughts suggestions related to my issue?

Sincerely

I think a recovery will wipe out any installed software, including Classic Shell.
However for extra confidence, of course, you can uninstall Classic Shell first.

I am using the 8.1 preview on my WinRT tablet. I am also seeing wifi issues, particularly after waking from sleep. Often the wifi service has stopped and I have to restart it. There are also other glitches, but that's expected from preview software.
