explorer.exe crash when after a windows login i click the first time classic menu icon, versions affected are 3.6.8 and 3.9.0 beta

procdump:

I don't know why but procdump don't create a dump file.

the start button has nothing to do with Internet Explorer.
are you sure it is iexplore.exe and not explorer.exe?

Sorry, you are right, explorer.exe crash here not ie. I wrote wrong name.

what if you start ClassicStartMenu.exe manually? Does it crash afterwards?

You can try two alternative ways of capturing a crash dump:
1) Use the procdump option -e 1. It will save a dump on any exception, not just fatal ones. There is a chance the dump will capture the real problem
2) Create a new DWORD value named "CrashDump" in HKCU\Software\IvoSoft\ClassicStartMenu\Settings. Set the value to 1. Log off and see if it will create a crash dump. The dumps are saved in the %LOCALAPPDATA% folder and will be named CSM_Crash.dmp

In both cases use version 3.9.0. It will provide more useful crash info.
