After trying Classic Shell for one day I decided to uninstall it. I followed the procedure in the FAQ section. Now it boots to the metro screen but when I open an application it open with the classic shell with no start button. I checked for the Classic Shell folder in program files and it is not there. HELP

Windows 8 supports 2 types of software. The Metro applications like Mail and News open fullscreen. The Desktop applications like Explorer, Office, Paint, etc. open on the desktop. Which program are you trying to run?
