Hi All,

I am an on site consultant. I check for the revision of Classic Shell with a script. (Classic Shell is very popular with my W8 W10 customers.)

If there a simple download site for Classic Shell or am I stuck having to program around that annoying Media Fire site?

I don't know what to tell you. The download link works for me. Maybe try another browser.
Also, if you need to download the same file frequently, then you can host it yourself on your own website.

It works fine with me in Firefox as well. You missed the part a using a "script". It is a total pain in the *** to have to program around all the weirdness of Mediafire. So I am, looking for a alternate site to download it from. If not, an example using "curl" would be appreciated.

I don't know anything about downloading from scripts.
The Classic Shell Update tool works just fine with Mediafire to establish a connection programmatically and download the new version.

Again, I will suggest you create your own download site for your own use. I don't have resources to maintain a server that can satisfy the download demands for a software as popular as Classic Shell. Mediafire was the only service I found that has the required bandwidth at a reasonable price.
