Hi,
I am using Version 4.2.4 of Classic Shell with Windows 10 and I have a confusing problem.
If I activate XP simple I have the plus- and minus-icons and the folders open at 1-click, so that I can open only one folder and have to click at the icons to close the folder. If I activate Vista i have the v- and >-icons and the folders open at double-click, so I can open more than one folder and click at the folders to close the folders.
My configuration is opening folders at double click and it confuses me that a change of the icon-layout also changes the folder-click behavior. Is it possible to have XP simple active and to double-click folders please?
Not to have the folder lines is something I most hardly miss because it was one of my main reasons to use Classic Shell (aside from the startmenu and copydialogs) but I understand that it's not possible anymore. Anyway thanks for all the great work.
Best regards, Kurt

The XP Classic option did this. It has connecting lines, + and - buttons and folders opened and closed with double click. But Microsoft broke this behavior of the navigation pane in Windows 10 (the icons were getting corrupted) so it had to be removed from Classic Shell.

Thank you for your quick answer. I was not aware that it it was also removed because if I choose the vista-layout I still can open and close with double-click. I thought it would be possible to have this behavior even with +/- so I'm sorry to hear that it isn't possible anymore. Anyways it seems it's time to move on.
Again, thanks a lot.
