In Windows 7 I have been using the Up Button in Classic Explorer. Suddenly the Up Button has disappeared. I ran ClassicExplorerSettings.exe and the Up Button is defined as I wish. The Up Button also disappeared a few months ago at which time I re-installed Classic Shell. I prefer not to re-install again if there's a simpler solution.

Follow the instructions here: http://www.classicshell.net/faq/#explorer_toolbar
If that doesn't work, try uninstall and install again. It just takes a minute and all your settings will be preserved.

Thanks for your response. Since I don't use IE I'm not sure how/if this'll work so I'll just re-install since the Classic Explorer Bar IS grayed out.

Doesn't matter if you use IE or not. Internet Explorer and Windows Explorer share the same settings.
