Hello all, Love the software and almost have it how I want but am having problems removing the programs folder as in the redirected one in user settings group policy. ![]() The one I set in classic shell group policy works perfectly however I noticed when a user signs in, the programs folder is automatically created and cant find a way to disable/hide the folder. Thanks all **edit** I just redirected the folder to a local location and changed permissions to write deny and it stopped the folder from appearing. Worst case I will drop some useful links in there and it will be fine but better to hide it if possible. |

Which folders have you redirected exactly - the Programs folder and/or the Start Menu folder? Have you redirected both the per-user folder and the All Users one or only one? How have you redirected them - using Windows folder redirection policies or Classic Shell settings? |

The folder in question is located in GP: User config, Windows settings, folder redirection, start menu. If I dont redirect it or do its the same result where the folder in the picture appears. I have found a temp fix where I direct it to a read only folder so it can not create its programs folder but would be nice to hide it. The one I would like to keep (the bottom programs folder in the pic) is found in classic shell's group policy under classic start menu, programs folder. |

Download the Classic Shell Utility from here: http://www.classicshell.net/downloads/ Run it, save a log file (the first option) and send it to me |
