800x600 Hi, I’ve just reverted to Windows 8 from 10 (8.1 I think) and now I can’t install CS. When I try to install 4_3_0 it says “the feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that is unavailable Click on OK to try again or enter an alternate path to a folder containing the installation package “ClassicShellSetup64_4_1_0msi”in the box below” I have no idea how to navigate windows 8 without my classic shell start menu Please help!

Download the Classic Shell Utility from here: http://www.classicshell.net/downloads/ Run it and choose the "manual uninstall" option. When it is done, reboot and then install version 4.3.0. |

Thanks for responding. Sorry. I can’t find a “manual uninstall” option. I’ve downloaded the prog from where you said – actually that same place I’ve been downloading anyway. If I double click on it in “my downloads” it opens a wizard – no manual option given. If I right click and select “run as administrator” it still opens the wizard. There’s no manual option in the wizard. Can you please talk me through how to find the manual option? |

Probably you downloaded the installer again. You need to scroll down on that page and look for "Classic Shell Utility". The file is called ClassicShellUtility.exe. |

Yes. Restart, then run the installer for 4.3.0. |
