Nope. New installed programmes are still not showing up.
Sick of this as I've used this programme since shortly after I got win 8. If this continues to not work I'll have to find alternatives sadly.

Yeah they don't appear there although I installed something today and it showed up so maybe whatever was blocking shortcuts from being made has gone

Do you mean the tab screen that appears when you click on "Start" when you hover your cursor over the right side of the screen?
If so then no. They aren't there. In fact nothing installed apart from winrar and maybe one or two other programmes I've installed show up.

Ok. It's just that I installed adobe CS6 master collection and no shortcuts in the start menu program folder.
Nothing gets created and placed in there

It was already ticked.\
i've reinstalled so will have to wait until I install a new programme and see if it creates a shortcut

I uninstalled and installed the latest version 4.1.0 and there was no options other than to choose the instal path and now it doesn't work. I have the awful windows button that takes me to the apps.

I'm using win 8.1 and when I install a programme it doesn't create a folder or shortcut to it in the All Programs section
