Is there any particular reason that the metro start button is taken away form the classic start menu in version 3.6.8?

Now we have Classic Shell what works fine, brings us back the start button and menu, and just like Microsoft start taking options or features away or change them!?

Bring back the metro start button please!!

No we aren't that retarded yet to randomly take features away. :P You can download the Metro button here: viewtopic.php?f=18&t=802

I rolled back to 3.6.7 and will continue using this version until there is an easy way to bring the metro start button back again.

Thanks.

Maybe there is a way to develop and use the Classic Shell features with the metro button provided in Windows 8.1 by MS?

Cheers.

Maybe, but I don't see any problem with the current solution. Download any button image, then select it in the settings (go to the Start Button tab, select Custom Button, click on Button Image, then browse for the image). It gives you access to hundreds of button designs.

Is it only a cosmetic restriction or its the whole button restricted? If it's just the picture of button, than i think shell button is cuter. I always use it

Not sure what you mean by "restriction". There is no restriction of what image you use for your button. The only change from version 3.6.7 is what buttons are available initially out of the box. You are free to add (or make) more.
