The first time after installing the Classic Shell it works, but now it doesn''t work anymore. The button "Pin program on taskbar" is not there anymore.

Also after a reinstall of Classic Shell it's the same. This is because the old settings will be restored after reinstalling the classic shell. This is not a good funktion. The Classic Shell should be setting back to the standard values by reinstalling, so that one can to reproduce the steps to the bug.

Apps can be pined on the taskbar, but programs not. By the apps the "pin on taskbar"-button is there, but not by programs like word, libre office, winamp etc..

Maybe it is like that after installing a new language for Classic Shell. I think, it was the german language for the options from Classic Shell.
The only adjustment, that I have made by myself in the Classic Shell, was to change the startbutton to the shell (Aero). But after that the "pin on taskbar"-button on programs was still there, i think.

Right-click on a program in the start menu and select Explore. This should open the same shortcut but in Explorer. Right-click on it there and see if the Pin command is there.
Also, if you run a program, can you pin it while it is running?

No. Also in the explore this button is not there. There and in the startmenu on rightclick are the Buttons "pin on startmenu" and "pin on startsite", but not "pin on taskbar". And by rightclick on the taskbar on a opened program comes only the button "close window". But programs that I have already pinned on the taskbar I can release from the taskbar. This works in the startmenu and on the taskbar.

You can reset all Classic Shell settings without having to reinstall it. Just open any settings dialog, click the Backup button and click Reset all settings.

Since the Taskbar is not part of Classic Shell, it does not modify other system verbs in the context menu or affect pin to taskbar functionality so something else might have broken it on your system. If you lost your Pin to Taskbar verb, use Taskbar Pinner freeware as an alternative: http://winaero.com/comment.php?comment.news.108

@ GauravK: Thank you for the link. I have taken the pin to 8 program. It's a little help. I desire a context menu item, but it's better than nothing.

And I have found the problem: It's right, it has nothing to do with the classic shell. Only these programs has no "pin to taskbar"-command that I have installed on the memory card, not on the hdd. I do this because the memory on my tablet is very small for Win 8.1. Win 8 seems to be not a good os for tablets. The text is very tiny everywhere.

Here a real little problem with classic shell: The adjustment window is to big for my tablet screen. It ranges from the top of the screen till the bottom, but the taskbar lays over it, so that I can not use the buttons on the bottom of this window. And I can not move the window higher, because it is on top already. For more shortcuts on the taskbar I have the height of it doubled. The resolution of this screen is 1368 x 768.

Ok, don't worry. It's all fine with classic shell. The problem is only there, if I scale up the text and other elements to 125%. I have to do this, because otherwise the text of the icons and in windows is nearly unreadable. It is a 10,1" tablet. Lower resolutions are not good, because the text is blurry then and the screen has black bars above and below or left and right.
