Hi,
Maybe it's my setup, but I am running pretty much default...

I'm using Classic Shell 4.0.4 (latest at time of writing), on Win 8.1 64-bit.

When I click the 'start' button on my desktop, and search for some items, say a word doc, I cannot then right click on one of the results and 'delete' the item - there is no delete option in the rt-click list. On Win7, for example, rt-clicking on a searched for file WILL give you the delete option.

If this is not a bug, how do I get the delete option?
Otherwise, can we get it on the bug fix list?

Thanks
SteveF

This is intentional so you don't accidentally delete the wrong file. The search results don't show enough context to confidently delete files. For example the location of the file is not shown, so if you have multiple docs with the same name it is hard to determine which one you are deleting. Better safe than sorry.

You can right-click and select Explore. This will open the file in Explorer. Now you know the exact location of the file, and you know what other documents are around it. You have more information to decide if you really want that document to be deleted.
