Hi there,

I find that when I log off the current user, and log back in again as the same or different user (log off as opposed to shut down or restart) CS doesn't automatically start and I'm left with the default Win 8.1 'start' button. I then have to manually restart CS each time. If I do a full shutdown or restart, it launches properly as expected. This is only when logging off or switching users. I have the latest version of CS installed for all users and all updates etc. for Win 8.1.

You need to do a repair install: http://www.classicshell.net/faq/#general_win81
