I am unable to remove the Settings button when you right click the start button. I have followed the registry steps of HKCU and HKLM, yet the Settings button is still there. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I have Windows 8.1 Pro Pack 64bit, and using the current release of Classic Shell 4.0.2.

Thanks

Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\IvoSoft\ClassicStartMenu and create a DWORD value called EnableSettings. Set it to 0. Then exit the Start Menu by right clicking on it -> Exit. The next time you start it, Settings will be disabled.
