I installed windows 8.1 and now my classic shell start menu will not work. I installed the latest version of CS and the start button will appear but when I click on it, it goes directly to the windows 8.1 start screen opposed to the classic start menu. I have restarted my computer, unistalled and reinstalled CS but nothing has changed. WHat do I do to get the classic start menu back.

I should add that I did the repair but it still does not work. The CS icon appears where the start menu is but when I click on it it goes to the metro interface.
Thank you
Paul

Right click the Start button and click Settings. Check on the Basic Settings tab (or Controls tab if you're viewing All Settings) what "Left click opens" is set to and what "Windows Key opens" is set to.
