For most people a repair or reinstall does fix the problem. Some have reported that it doesn't work for them, just like in your case. I am working on a tool that will collect information about your system in attempt to diagnose the problem.

classicshell@ibeltchev.com. The file may contain some sensitive info (like the software you have installed), so you might prefer the email option.
