I use the Windows 7 menu style on Windows 8. The start menu items seems to be fixed at 20 no matter what I set in the the Special Items and General Behavior settings tabs. I would like the Start Menu items increase to support up to 100 items. I am a little confused about the settings meanings as I have not been able to find a description in any help panels or documentation. I have tried different settings for the jumplist sizes and this doesn't seem to change the way it works. I have set the values in the Max recent documents and the Max recent programs to different settings but they seem fixed to 20 max.

Hmm. Having 20 Recent Programs can be limiting, especially if small icons are being used and there is space to display more items.

Starting with Classic Shell 4.2.5, the limit for recent/frequent apps is raised to 40.
