Classic Shell: Forum

Hey All, need some help. I intermittently encounter a problem where when I open a new window, all windows I have open minimize. If I try to bring one back up, it automatically minimizes again. Before I could play around with the mouse, open and close some windows and lock/unlock the computer and I'd be able to get everything back to normal. After I installed the most recent version I have to reboot in order to fix it and sometimes then it still immediately happens after logging back in.

I found one post online where someone had the same problem. The fix was to unintsall Classic Shell. I really don't want to do that. Is there a fix for this problem?

Classic Shell doesn't do anything that should interfere with arbitrary programs.
Have you verified that uninstalling Classic Shell makes any difference in your case?

My assumption on that had been based on the posting I found online. I found another post last night that said the problem was caused by Skip Metro Suite. I'm going to try uninstalling that first and see if the problem stops. I'll post back once I know what happens.
