Hi,
If I go to "Start > Settings > Programs and Features" and click on it nothing happens. Yet if I go to "Start > Settings > Control Panel > Programs and Features" and click on it then "Programs and Features" does open. Anyone have any ides why the first scenario does not work?

Regards.

The Start > Settings > Programs and Features entry uses an internal Classic Shell command that probably runs shell:ChangeRemoveProgramsFolder or calls its class ID directly. If some Windows CLSIDs or shell folders are damaged in the Registry on your Windows PC, it will stop working. You can work around this by going to "Customize Start Menu" tab in Start Menu Settings. Double click the "Programs and Features" item under Settings and erase the Command field. Then type this in the Command field:
shell:ChangeRemoveProgramsFolder

and click OK everywhere to save settings.
