Apologies if this is in the wrong forum, but I was unsure where to post as I am uncertain what the issue is.

I have a new computer, with windows 10 loaded directly out of box. I downloaded Classic Shell 4.3.0 from the main page and let it load all pre-selected items. Since installing, I now am having issues with my Chrome Browser. It is not loading pages correctly and images. This seems to happen 75% of the time in chrome, and not at all in IE 11. I've tried to refresh and reload the Chrome browser and it still happens. So I uninstalled Classic Shell, and all returned to normal with no issues.

I've just reloaded Classic Shell, to see if perhaps I did something wrong the first time. Chrome is being crazy again and randomly not properly loading pages.

Is there a setting I have missed? I didn't think Classic Shell would effect Chrome (I am using Version 52.0.2743.116 m (64-bit))?

any suggestions? I am not super tech savvy, but would appreciate any help you may have.

Try uninstalling Classic Shell, then reboot, then install it again but only pick the "start menu" component (uncheck the rest). Let's figure out which component is causing problems with Chrome. The start menu runs almost exclusively inside the Explorer process and should not have any interaction with Chrome, unless Chrome does some weird things.

Great, thank you for the suggestion. I uninstalled and reinstalled choosing only the start menu option on the installer.

I've been running chrome this morning and seem to be working as normal.

I use Google Chrome daily and haven't noticed any incompatibilities with Classic Shell's Explorer or other components. But if you do find an incompatibility, please do let us know.

no sure if this is the same issue, but since my update last week, I have had issues with Chrome as well.

I am running windows 8 and my computer would intermittently freeze since the last update.

I have been backing out of any installs and updates to figure it out. This morning i closed Classic Shell and its been 2 hours with no freezing.

I will uninstall and reinstall with only the start menu component since I really like your app.

Classic Shell's DLLs do not load inside the Chrome.exe process so there should be no relation.
