Is there any method to completely hide the Quick Access Start menu in de windows 7 style start menu ?

I'm not using pin to start menu NOR recently used programs. So I end up with first seeing a blank space
when opening the start menu and I first have to click programs to enter the applications.

Can this be done without switching to the classic menu ? What are the options if any ?

Thanks!

Go to the "Main Menu" tab in Classic Start Menu Settings. Look for an option called "All Programs style" and change it to "Inside main menu". Then check the "Open automatically" checkbox and click OK.
