I just installed win10 and classicshell. Right now, the Microsoft Edge browser icon is on the task bar. I'd like to pin it to the start menu instead. However, I can't find where the program resides so I can do that, which means if I delete it from the task bar, it's gone, I can't get it back. Can anyone help me find the Edge program file?

There is no Edge program file. It is a Metro app.
Shift+Right-click on the taskbar icon and see if you get any pinning options.

From the taskbar, it only lets you unpin it or open it. But I found two ways to accomplish getting Edge on the start menu. 1) turn on metro apps in the All Programs menu in the classicshell settings. Right click on Edge and select pin to the start menu. 2) Using the Win10 start menu, drag the Edge icon to the desktop where it makes a link back to the Win10 start menu. Then, drag that link icon down to the classicshell start button and drop it on the start menu. Yay!

You can also go to the Customize Start Menu tab in Settings and enable Metro Apps to "Display as a menu". Then right click "Edge" from the Apps list and pin it.
