Hi Ivo,
when for the start button you use a custom image, which is a bit
higher than the height of the taskbar, then when you open the start menu, the button correctly is displayed on top of it, so that the menu does
not cut it off. However, this is
not working correctly for the menu of pinned apps: The Start button is not layered
above the menu of pinned apps, but instead is incorrectly layered
below these menus. Basically the top part of the start button is then hidden below the menu, which looks ugly.
