Hi Guys,

Love Classic Shell, thanks for putting it together.

We use Skype for Business (formerly Lync) every day. Everything works fine under Classic Shell, with the exception that when someone shares their desktop with me in a video call, all I see on my screen is a big white rectangle where their desktop should be. This is very frustrating and I hope it is correctable by a Classic Shell setting perhaps?

If not, have other folks seen this effect?

FYI, I'm using a SurfacePro3 running Windows8.1 and Classic Shell. I just upgraded to CS 4.2.1 in case there is a fix in there and If the problem goes away I will post that here.

Otherwise, all helpful advice appreciated.

- Steve

Diffidently not something I've ever heard of (in relation to classic shell)
So to get this right, you have classic shell, they don't and their screen is showing up as a white square on your monitor?

It sounds more like a display driver, skype or Direct X issue.
I used Skype in the manner your describing without incident.

Have you tried temporarily uninstalling classic shell to confirm if its a classic shell issue? (Its easy to create a backup and restore your settings

Jcee, your description is correct. I will try the uninstall to see if that helps. Good to know the settings can be backed up.

Thx
Steve
