hi there!
First: excuse my very bad english!

If I press the Start button, type cmd into the "Run" box and press Enter the PC goes shutdown;although I do not want to !!
Is it a mistake of windows or a bug in classic shell?
If I use Modern UI , take the search-button, type the CMD an press enter, the prompt will displayed correctly.

I hope you understand my problem and can help me.
I use Windows 8.1, all patches are installed.
Thanks for your support.
Martin

Btw you said the "Run" box. The Run box is part of Windows. It is not part of Classic Shell. So if you are typing into "Run dialog" then this is a Windows issue.

If you are typing cmd into the Start Menu SEARCH box (not the Run box), then it's part of Classic Shell. In that case, when you do the search for cmd, what do the search results show in the Start Menu? Does it show cmd.exe at the top? When you hover your mouse over it what info does it show? And clicking it proceeds to a shutdown or do you press Enter? :o  Can you show a screenshot of the search results?

Is it possible that while you are typing, you are moving the mouse to the shutdown button and it somehow gets activated?

Thanks for your posting!
Yes, I would like to see the classic shell startup menu but more accurate! I did not realize that this is the Search box and not the " Run" box. When I type cmd and confirm by pressing "Enter ", of course, the "shutdown" is executed. So: My mistake! Can I prevent this undesirable feature possibly due to the Classic Shell Configuration menu?

Unless we can reproduce the bug, it cannot be fixed. Your screenshot did not come through. You will have to show us what is happening. cmd.exe should not shutdown.
