| Windows 7 is annoying. Microsoft has taken away the rights to manage folders default view. And, configuring a view than selecting "apply to all sub-folders" does NOT work.
Explorer++ has a feature to set All folders Default View". Windows Shell is a much better product
and the default view should be in Classic Shell/Explorer.
Can you PLEASE add this feature or give a reasonable suggestion to make a global
and permanent fix to set a view preference please. I like large ICONS because of vision issues.
But, Windows and Microsoft's insane forced management, won't allow a global and permanent
setting to fix all folders and files to a desired preference such as my choice of large icon.
Windows 8 and 8.1 are basically the same and I will bet version 10 will also be Microsoft's
 forced style.
My rant. Microsoft is ridiculous. They stop the support of popular operating systems when new a OS
doesn't measure up. This is not how to make a successful product. A good product will result in a
natural market following and older products will fall out of favor by natural selection.
If Microsoft keeps forcing restrictive and annoying new operating systems on the public,
I may migrate to a Hackintosh Frankentosh, or to Ubantu or some variation.
Over the years, Linux has improved and is close to being a mainstream product. Too bad it isn't there yet.
I have a Nexus tablet. I have a PC. I don't see the point of a tablet OS on a PC or forced preferences
starting with Vista and continuing. If Microsoft just looks at their declining market share, perhaps they
would get a clue. But I guess that is just too obvious.
HELP PLEASE. I am getting tired of Microsoft forced management of files, folders and their default display size.
