According to this thread
http://superuser.com/questions/470022/i ... hen-clicki

and this one
http://superuser.com/questions/566374/h ... i-click-th

I found that this kind of feature on Windows is very annoying when I click on the focused windows to make sure that it's on the top, but in contrast, it does hiding the windows. The way windows7 behaves like this doesn't seem useful at all - Windows' users don't usually click on the taskbar for the purpose of minimizing windows as there is a button on each windows to minimize it and we get used to that button.

Can you please add a feature to prevent this behaviour in the next version?

Classic Shell does not mess with the taskbar. Your request is better suited for another program that focuses exclusively on taskbar features: http://rammichael.com/7-taskbar-tweaker

Regarding the statement "Classic Shell does not mess with the task bar", Classic Shell prevents some programs (including Bit Defender) from appearing in the task bar. Please see the reply I just posted under "Bug Reports" / "Second Copy 8".

The intent of my statement was "Classic Shell does not implement taskbar features". It has to deal with it to add the start button, but that's the biggest part of it's involvement with the taskbar.
