I am sorry if this matter came on somewhere before now. I've tried the search, honestly).
Is there any way to make the rest of the menues/windows in Win7 look like the start menu in Classic Shell "FullGlass opacity"mode?

Thank you.

And thank you for the great job you have done with Classic Shell!

Microsoft doesn't officially allow theming the rest of the OS. There is an app called UxStyle which unlocks the theming ability, then you can install custom visual styles/themes made by the Windows community from sites like deviantart.com. Maybe you will find a similar visual style/theme as "Full Glass" on devianart.com. Install UxStyle first and then find and apply the theme from DA.

Also the theme you install must match the exact version of the Windows version it was made for. Meaning Windows 7 visual styles won't work with Windows 8 and vice versa.

Disclaimer: Classic Shell is not responsible for anything that happens to your PC from installing third party apps.

I know that. I've tried themes which use fullglass.exe, but they only work with black themes (which cn cause trouble at times). What's more inportant, they are just transparent, and not "glassy" like native aero - and like Classic Shell's FullGlass opacity mode (which is just magnificent and it doesn't require a black theme!)

So I wonder if the technology that had been used in Classic Shell's can be applied to windows or at least menues, with the "theming ability" unlocked?

Appreciate your time.

How about this theme? http://sagorpirbd.deviantart.com/art/Cl ... -145672325 It has clear glass with blur without being dark. You will have to install the freeware called UxStyle before applying this theme.

Seems like I've been misunderstood) No, this theme won't go as it still leaves the working area in Explorer (and the menues) white. I want something that could make at least the right-click menues look like Classic Shell (see the screenshot).

I understood but I don't know of any such theme with glass Windows menus even if it exists at Deviantart. So I just suggested the next best alternative - more glass in the UI :)

Thank you anyway) I thought maybe the same technology you had used for Classic Shell could be applied at least to right-click menues, if not the Explorer working area.
Aren't they the same, the start menu and the rest of the menues)

I could suggest trying this one, but I doubt you can read any Russian:

Classic Shell's Start Menu is an independent implementation of the original Start Menu from scratch. It is 100% its own code, like a standalone app, and not a hack or reuse of the Microsoft Start Menu code. So the "same technology cannot be used". :)
