Love the Classic Shell - it was one of the first things installed when I upgraded to a new Windows 8 laptop last year. Only one *very* minor thing - a request for a change. When I use the search box I am used to pressing Enter to mean "now go find the results", not "now open the first result found".
Would it be possible to (optionally) have it so that when I type my search term and hit Enter it opens the same window as when I click on "Show More Results"?
This is about the only thing I can see that could possibly improve the tool.
Thanks,
Ethel Aardvaark.

The topmost result is selected so users can press Enter and save the keystrokes to select it. So for Show more results you will have to press the Up arrow key twice and press Enter. Enter can't be used for Show more results.

I am a Windows enthusiast and helped a little with Classic Shell's testing and usability/UX feedback.

I'd be interested to hear how many people find the top result to be the most appropriate, most of the time. For me it is almost never (possibly because I never use Search to find programs, just documents for which I have forgotten the exact location and title).
I would have thought a simple option to toggle the behaviour would have been relatively straightforward...
