I'm using Classic Shell 4.1.0 and Microsoft OneNote 2013.

When I'm searching for a specific text via the search box "search programs and files" in Classic Shell, he founds the OneNote documents. But when I clicked the OneNote result, OneNote doesn't open with that specific page.

When I clicked on "See more results", a windows search window is opened, and when I click on an OneNote result, it opens perfectly.

When I'm installing an older version of Classic Shell (e.g. 4.0.1), it works again. But after reïnstalling 4.1.0 it doesn't works anymore.

It appears that you are running Windows 8. I did some testing with Classic Shell on Windows 7 (which is what I have currently booted).

On Windows 7 64-bit, I have Office 2010 64-bit installed. I did not hack around the registry to make it create search connectors. It automatically created search connectors for OneNote 2010 and Outlook 2010.

From the WSM (Windows 7 Start Menu), I am able to search OneNote notes and Outlook emails/calendars and press Enter - it opens OneNote notes and Outlook calendar respectively.

But from Classic Start Menu, only Outlook emails opens and clicking on OneNote closes the menu but does nothing. OneNote doesn't open. As colaglas said, from Explorer Searches folder, I am able to open content from OneNote or Outlook's search connectors by clicking 'open' on the blue Command Bar. But CSM doesn't open only OneNote notes.

OneNote files should open correctly from search results in Classic Shell 4.2.0+.
