Every time I login to my computer, the classic start menu isn't there. I have to go to the settings to apply the classic start menu. Is there away to leave the classic start menu up everytime I login to my computer?

If you upgraded to Windows 8.1 from Windows 8, do a Repair installation of Classic Shell. If after doing a Repair install, it still doesn't start then create a shortcut:

To create a shortcut,
1. Open Windows Explorer and navigate to C:\Program Files\Classic Shell.
2. Right click ClassicStartMenu.exe and click Copy.
3. Now navigate to C:\Users\<your user name>\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Startup
4. Right click in an empty area of this folder and click Paste Shortcut.

Now the menu should start automatically.

It is a hidden folder. You can manually type it in the address bar. Or you can use the Folder Options in Explorer to show hidden files/folders.
