Hi,
I'm running Windows 7 x64 and I've installed classic shell a long time ago for only 1 reason: Having the file size in the status bar! and that's all I need. It worked fine for many months but recently, I don't see the status bar file sizes anymore and when I right click on any part in the toolbar of any explorer window, I see the "Classic Explore Bar" option dimmed (not clickable) - Screen Shot below. I uninstalled the program completely with the help of the "ClassicShellUtility.exe" to make sure I uninstalled it completely, then restarted, then installed again but still nothing! (P.S. when I install, I only choose the Classic Explorer component)

Thank you very much. All is working as before! I'm not really sure what disabled these in IE. I had 'em enabled before. May be Windows updates are the culprit. Who knows!

1 issue I wanna talk about regarding the file size units. I searched for *.mp4 just to see the total size of this video format which is spread all over my D: partition and Classic Explore reported 592 MB+
while me right clicking the same files, I got 11.9 GB from Windows!! 592 MB+ doesn't tell me much about file sizes. Is this a bug or what? Can I have the same units used by Explorer in the status bar?

Classic Shell does not calculate the reported value. It is all done by Explorer. Classic Shell merely shows it. For large files, Explorer takes time to calculate the size. If you check your 11.9 GB file again after a while, it should show the full size. You might be using a hard disk drive. On an SSD, the size calculation is almost instant.
