Hi there... I know the explorer tree view scrolling thing has been talked about to death. But I'm still missing something. It would appear that classic shell still doesn't completely fix it.

Here's how it should work:

When I expand any folder - the folder I just expanded should not move from under the current mouse position (at the time it was clicked). This is how it used to work pre-vista. Or is my brain fading from old age?

Now it appears classic shell fixes the crazy bug of the expanded folder moving down, but still does not prevent some scrolling movement in certain circumstances. But how the hell do I stop it moving at all - which seems to me to be the sensible behavior (just my opinion) ?

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Pre-Vista also, if there were MANY subfolders under the parent folder, to show all of them, when the parent folder was expanded, it scrolled up. If there were less subfolders such that scrolling wasn't necessary to view all of them, then it didn't scroll. What Classic Explorer fixes is the abnormal jumping up behavior of the scrollbar.
