I am having a odd issue where when I open up file explorer either by going to 'this pc' on classic shell or opening file explorer via the start menu, I will navigate 2 folders down on C: and then 2 instances of a file explorer window will open up on the same sub folder. If I browse to the D: a separate window will be right at root. What is going on here? All I want is 1 window for everything. I do not want separate windows opening. Is this a bug how classic shell works with file explorer in windows 10? Please help. Thank you so much. |

If you suspect the problem is caused by Classic Shell, temporarily uninstall it and see if anything changes. Your settings will be preserved for the next time you install it. |

Well this is really odd. Uninstalled classic shell and it still does it. Sometimes it opens 2 windows, sometimes it doesn't. What the heck could be causing this. OCD is going batty. |

Are you using any other explorer related programs/toolbars? Ive seen a similar problem in clover, and imagine it possible for QT tabsbar too |
