Very simple question but I can't find the answer.
I want to set the default view for opening windows explorer.
I want it to open showing the C: drive with all it's folders expanded.
Tried the "c:\windows\explorer.exe /n,/e,c:\" in the properties but it continues to open to the My documents folder.

explorer.exe /n,/e,C:\ works fine for me in Windows 7/8.1/10. It opens at C:\ and it's selected in the left pane too but focus is on the right pane.
This isn't related to Classic Shell, just for note.

Thanks, actually you're right it does work. My problem was that I start explorer from the taskbar. For that property to work I had to unpin and repin after setting that property in the start menu.
