| Post subject: | copy fails - multiple instances |
when i have multiple tabs or multiple instances of classic explorer running and the first time i copy files from one instance to another it works. if i try to copy a second or subsequent times the copy fails. classic explorer locks. if i execute any further commands it returns the error message "not responding". |

This is Windows Explorer, not Classic Explorer. CE is just a plugin for WE to provide features like toolbar and such. Uninstall Classic Explorer and try again to see if it is related to your problem. You also mention tabs. Windows Explorer doesn't have tabs. If you see tabs, then you probably have some additional plugin that adds them. It may be related. |
