I've been on a modding frenzy on my new laptop running Windows 8 and don't know if this is a Classic Explorer glitch or a ribbon disabler glitch. I installed classic explorer and the toolbar showed up fine for a while, then I installed ribbon disabler. Classic explorer disappeared and no matter where I right click I can't get it back, whether I have the ribbon disabled or not. All I have is this splitter bar that gives me the double arrows when I hover over it, but doesn't move when I try to drag it.

I tried resinstalling Classic Shell per the instructions and making sure all explorer windows were closed and uninstalling it, but no luck. Any ideas?

First make sure Classic Explorer is enabled by following the steps here: http://www.classicshell.net/faq/#explorer_toolbar

If the Ribbon is enabled, click the View tab. Click the dropdown arrow on right most button on the View tab called Options. You can enable Classic Explorer toolbar from there.

If the Ribbon is disabled, press Alt to show the menu bar or turn it on from View menu -> Folder Options. Then right click on the menu bar to enable the Classic Explorer toolbar.
