Hi, Is there a way of enabling the "sort header" in Windows 8? That is the bar that, in details view, lets you sort by name, file type, date modified etc. in a single click. |

Yes, the setting "Show sort headers in all views" works on Windows 8. You can find it in the File Pane tab of the Classic Explorer settings. |

When I change these settings - column view, sort by, group by, filter - then leave the folder and come back, the settings disappear. I have tried everything to no avail. I know this can be done, because on my laptop these settings persist. |
