Hello. After transition with Windows XP on Windows 8 I experience difficulties because of the changed interface of the "Save As" window. Whether it is possible to return in Windows 8 these functions by means of Classic Shell? 1. Navigator Pan: 5 buttons. 2. Full hierarchy of folders in an address line, and not just the last open folders. ![]() ![]() |

No, the common dialogs for Open/Save are loaded into application's process. Modifying them may crash the application. See here for a detailed explanation: http://www.classicshell.net/faq/#explorer_saveas However, in the newer Open dialog, there is a Favorites section in the navigation pane where you can add your own shortcuts. And instead of the hierarchical dropdown, there is the breadcrumbs bar on which you can directly click. In Windows 8, you can also drag and drop to the breadcrumbs bar. |

Dialogue of "Save As" is connected first of all with the Operating system. Look: one and too the "Save As" in Firefox looks differently in Windows XP and Windows 7/8. Also, if to speak about the address panel in "Windows Explorer", you can notice a difference: 1 . The address "My Computer" panel in Windows XP at click shows full hierarchy of folders. ![]() 2 . The address panel in Windows-8 at click contains only the last location. ![]() Perhaps, at least it can be corrected by means of Classic Shell? |

No it can't for common Open/Save dialogs because of above mentioned reason. But for File Explorer, open Classic Explorer Settings and go to the Title Bar tab. There is a setting called Address bar history with 3 options. Set it to 'Extended path' or 'Simple path'. Close and reopen any Explorer windows. This will affect only Explorer, not common dialogs. |

You can get similar contents in the address bar dropdown if you change the "Address bar history" setting to "Extended path". Of course it will only work in Explorer and not the Save As. |
