i had set icons to "list" in explorer settings then applied the "apply to folders" - every time i open a new folder, windows reverts the icons back to details or large icons (if there's image files in the list) - this happens in explorer (my computer) or inside applications (Save-As in Excel show "details") - where can i change the "global" setting to list mode? Mike |

Classic Shell doesn't affect the folder options. You may have better luck asking this question on www.sevenforums.com or www.eightforums.com, depending on the version of Windows you are using. |
