Hello I'm trying to configure users classic shell start menu parameters using the Classic shell GPO ADMX template (version 4.0.3) in a Windows 2016 server context. The computers use Windows 10 Pro 1809 64b (FRE). The users have very limited rights ; their Windows context is very restricted. On the server, no issue to install the ADMX template in local store : I can read and configure the Classic shell rules (on the User branch). But the changes are not applyed on the workstations : the reg keys are even not created. The users keep the standard CS start menu profile. I had to create corresponding keys. It works but it's less readable and harder to maintain. Any idea about the cause of this malfunctioning ? I precise it's not a matter of OU ou filters. Thank you in advance. |
