Always a longer delay waiting for CSM to show itself the first time. I tried adjusting menu delays, but does not make any difference. ![]() Read on some page, that CSM uses explorer to start. So, does that mean it is really Window's 8 system, that is the slow poke? Is there somewhere in Windows 8, besides fast startup, to make CSM priority higher always, to start first, or kept in preload memory somewhere?:) ps In my situation, I had to dissable fast startup, (mini hibernate), as there were errors dual booting removable drives. ( Win 8 remembered contents of drives at shutdown, but got confused when I switched drives on it the next boot) This has nothing to do with CSM, but might be making CSM load slower. |

The next version (which is now in beta) should start faster. |

Oh ![]() Getting better all the time. Funny. My CSM desktop shortcut, changed to a different type all by itself. It is now a cross between a shell and an alien 8 digit paw. Live Long and Prosper. ![]() Thank you. |
