Hi, I'm a Windows 7 user. Recently, I figured out that I could make the taskbar smaller by setting it to small icon mode, and have the labels visible by setting it to never combine windows in the taskbar. However, while everything else gets smaller, the button that calls up the start menu stubbornly stays the same size, and it sticks into anything I have taking up the whole screen (i.e everything).

Can I resize the start menu button with Classic Shell?

If you select a custom button image you can control the size of the button.
You can also select the Classic button, which is somewhat smaller.
