Post subject:  Windows 10 put a "Settings" icon on my Programs list

After the most recent automatic Windows 10 update, I find that many of my program icons have moved around or are missing. I fixed those. However, I also notice that Windows put a "Settings" icon in my Programs list. This is not the main menu list that comes up when you click the start button, it's the list that comes up when you click the "Programs" icon.

For the life of me, I can't get rid of it. Delete is not an option and when I tried changing key characteristics, such as what program the icon started, it refused to save the changes.

Is there a way to remove this icon?

Thank you.

Programs is a mesh of 2 folders.
Right click your start button, go to 'open' look for a 'settings' folder here
If it's not there, right click the start button again and go to 'open All Users'
