Post subject:  Setting Folder View Options

When I set my folder view options so they affect all subfolders and files, and then create a new folder(s), the new folder(s) always revert to some predetermined default. How can I set my folder options so they not only are applied to existing folders and subfolders, but also to any new folders that I create?

Using Windows 10 and Classic Shell 4.3.0.

Classic Shell does not affect Explorer folder views in any way.

Here's how folder views work in Windows: http://winaero.com/blog/change-folder-v ... indows-10/

I'm a bit confused: I thought Classic Shell was an improvement and a replacement for Windows Explorer.

No, Classic Shell includes an add-on for Windows Explorer that restores some missing/removed features. It is not a replacement.
