On my machine, with Windows 10 "creator edition", if I select the drop-down next to "Shut Down" on Classic Start Menu and select "Restart", the sub-menu disappears but my machine makes not effort to restart. You mean nothing happens when you press Restart and the Start menu just closes? What happens if you run: Shutdown.exe -R -T 0 from the Command prompt? |
