Is it possible to add quick launch shortcuts on the taskbar for all users i.e. in Win7 you can populate %appdata%\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Quick Launch\User Pinned\TaskBar with desired shortcuts. I know ClassicShell has %appdata%\ClassicShell\Pinned which is great but that's for the Start Menu so is there a taskbar equivalent? |

Quick Launch is per-user only, there is no taskbar location for all users. Also, Windows 10 removed the Windows 7/8.1 API which allowed programmatic pinning to taskbar. |

Hmm, I know its possible to add items to the Win 10 taskbar using StartMenuLayout but for some reason this seems to be hit and miss i.e. its working one minute and not the next. Not sure if this is an issue with the mandatory profiles we use or classic shell (probably a combination of the 2). Is there no way achieve this? |
