| Post subject: | Ugly Square Behind Metro App Icons |
(I have the option to display icons in boxes disabled) All Metro icons have an ugly square behind them. (Example of what I'm talking about: https://i.imgur.com/XriOGJc.jpg) How do I get rid of this? StartIsBack doesn't have this and I was wondering if I could get the same thing on Classic Shell |

The Metro icons are white and will not be visible on a white background. You can try the "Invert Metro icon color" setting in the Menu Look tab. |

In Classic Start Menu Settings, - Uncheck "Show icon frames" on the Skin tab. - Check "Invert Metro icon color" on the Menu Look tab. |
