During set-up, I chose the skin for windows 7. The picture showed what I wanted, white (no color) in the first column and blue (color) in the second. Furthermore, I can't figure out how to change it. The FAQs don't really address this. I don't want to create a custom skin. When I figured out how to access the skins sub-folder and clicked on skin7, I got 404 error no such page exists. Got the same result when I tried classicshell.net/skins, as recommended. The same when I thought I had found what I was looking for, a page with large frames that looked like they would show what one was -- but clicking on one led me back to the same lousy error page. Any one know how to perform what should be a simple task?

Right click the Start button -> Settings. Go to the Skins tab and pick any skin you want. Click OK.
