So, the service is up and running and set to automatic, but the Classic Start Menu executable does not run automatically, nor does it allow me to skip the Start Page or disable the hotspots on my desktop. I've read through other claims for this issue, but nothing fixed the problem. I am using the v3.6.7 EXE installation.

Thanks in advance!

Does it go to the desktop if you leave it alone for 10-15 seconds?
If you manually open the desktop (Win+D key), do you see a start button?

No to both.

I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling. Removing all settings and then setting them again. No change. :(

Try to manually run ClassicStartMenu.exe from the Classic Shell folder. Do you get a start button then?

Open regedit and got to HKLM\Software\IvoSoft\ClasicShell
Create a new DWORD value named "LogService" and set it to 1.
Then restart.
After you log in, look for a file called "service.log" in the Classic Shell folder. Attach it here.
